On March 28, a meeting was held between representatives of the Academy of Tourism in Antalya and the head of the Center for International Programs at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan. Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation between the Academy of Tourism in Antalya and the Center for International Programs at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of study abroad was signed
March 28, 2019 Rector of the Academy of Tourism in Antalya Zafer Bikkenoglu held talks with the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Mirboboev. The parties discussed issues of international cooperation with universities on double diploma programs and grants in schools and colleges of the Republic
The meeting of the rector of Academy of Tourism in Antalya with Zafer Bykkenoglu and Special Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan Republic in Republic of Turkey Abzalom Saparbekuli passed in a friendly atmosphere.
On the meeting were discussed such questions as a development of tourism in Kazakhstan Republic, provisions of grants for education in Tourism Academy for talented youth, cooperation with leading universities and colleges of Kazakhstan with the double diploma directions, internship organization for students and teachers. In addition, they paid big attention to the organization of education of current hotels and restaurants. So now, Tourism Academy creates a platform with the online education. It will contain videos with the practical lessons of students of Academy, and master-classes from the best professionals: waiter and waitress from 5 stars hotels.
Mr Ambassador gave a promise to help with the including of Knowledge International Olympiad in Antalya, which Academy of Tourism organizes every year, to the list of Republican science and practical center “Darin ”
Meeting with the akim of Shymkent – a round table with the head of the department of education, tourism department and heads of universities, colleges and the best schools of the region. Participation in the program to improve the level of service in the city of Shymkent, which received the status of a republican center and declared the capital of the CIS.
On March 11, the leadership of the Academy of Tourism made an official visit to the Ust-Kamenogorsk Multidisciplinary Technological College.
During the meeting, heads of educational institutions discussed issues of cooperation, the implementation of joint educational programs and scientific projects.
The Academy of Tourism works closely with the Croatian University of VERN. VERN’S UNIVERSITY is a leading university of applied sciences in Croatia, graduating in business, economics, tourism and management. Teachers at a Croatian university conduct lectures for undergraduate students at the Academy of Tourism.
In February – March 2019, a teacher at VERN University, Jadranka Musulin, reads the module “Business Administration Software / Business Administration Software”
Course Objectives: To provide insight into the use of IT tools as a means to more quickly and efficiently solve business problems. And also give an idea of the basic concepts and methods of electronic data processing using MS Excel. To allow students to understand and use computer tables to solve basic financial calculations and business results.
In the process of studying this module, students get acquainted with the following areas:
- Areas of application of computer tables.
- Key elements of advanced use of MS Excel tools.
- Areas of business finance and mathematics using IT tools.
- Spreadsheets for arithmetic and financial calculations.
- Data and its use.
- Spreadsheets for analysis and solving numerical problems.
On February 28, 2019, the Chairman of the Turkish Federation of Hoteliers Osman Ayyk met with the leadership of the Academy and students at the Academy of Tourism in Antalya.
Osman Ayyk told students about the state of tourism in Turkey today and development plans for the coming years. He said that Turkey needs the staff that our Academy prepares, that they are at the right time in the right place and they have a great future in the field of tourism and hospitality.
