The rector of the academy met with the top leadership of the region in the person of the regional akim and the heads of the tourism department, the department of education, universities and schools of the region.
The meeting discussed issues of the Academy’s participation in the tourism development program, pilgrimage, the creation of a training base for the tourism infrastructure of the region.
There was a proposal to open a college of tourism together with the Academy, which will become a training center for the Turkestan region.
