This year, the Tourism Academy in Antalya celebrates its 25th anniversary. A quarter of a century is more than just a date — it represents a rich history filled with hard work, achievements, and successes of thousands of students and faculty members. Over the years, the Academy has grown from a bold educational initiative into an international center for training professionals in tourism and hospitality. Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on our accomplishments and look proudly toward the future.
Jubilee Celebration
On November 3–4, 2025, Antalya will become the center of a major event — the 25th anniversary celebration of the Tourism Academy. The festivities will take place at Hotel Fashion TV and Hotel Transatlantik in Göynük, Kemer. The program includes a gala concert featuring a renowned star, alumni reunions spanning different years, and opportunities to connect with faculty, partners, and honored guests. The anniversary atmosphere will bring together generations of students and educators, highlighting the Academy’s significance within the international educational community.
The Academy’s Journey
The Tourism Academy was founded in 2000 by Zafer Bikkenoglu as part of the Eduant educational corporation. From its earliest years, the Academy developed as an innovative educational center, training specialists for the tourism and hospitality industry.
Over the past 25 years, thousands of students from around the world have studied at the Academy. Today, it is an international campus of the Geneva Business Institute, encompassing the Tourism Academy, the College of Tourism, and various internship programs. In 2025, the Academy took a new step by launching a master’s program in collaboration with the Higher School of Economics.
Looking Ahead
The Eduant Corporation and the Tourism Academy are planning new projects that will provide students with even greater opportunities for education and career development on the international stage.
The anniversary is not only a celebration but also a testament to the Academy’s stability and high standard of education. The Tourism Academy has become a symbol of professional growth, international recognition, and successful career paths for its graduates.
